It's with great pride and excitement that we announce that Goodhand Acoustics has won the Best Construction Supplier Award at the South East Construction Expo event at Sandown Park. This is a huge achievement for us, beating off stiff competition from other great businesses in the construction industry.
We are thrilled to be recognised for our hard work on some of the UK's largest and most complex construction projects, including HS2, Crossrail and Thames Tideway Tunnel. Our ability to deliver complex work for such projects as a microbusiness impressed the judges. We are proud to have stood out for our high level of expertise and our approach to liaising with the local community during our work. Our commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and focus on customer satisfaction have all been recognised by this prestigious award.
At Goodhand Acoustics, we support local charities and causes in Brighton. We are committed to do our part to make our local community a better place. The judges praised Goodhand Acoustics and all the nominated finalists for supporting local charities.
In particular, we have supported Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project (MFGWP) for many years now. MFGWP are an exceptional small charity operating in an area of high deprivation in Brighton. We encourage other businesses to support them. Their work, especially with young people who have had difficulty in the traditional education setting, is inspiring. They work tirelessly to improve the ecology in and around Brighton and stretch the donations they receive to beyond what you might think possible. We have have supported Saint Augustine’s Arts & Events Centre and their vision to become a community hub and and business centre focussed on bringing people together through art, events and good food. We use their facilities almost every week and when an opportunity came up to assist them we were delighted to help.
The South East Construction Expo event was a fantastic showcase for leading businesses in the south east, and we were delighted to be part of it. The day was filled with insightful seminar sessions, including an update from the Bank of England, Green Finance, and innovations changing the way our world is built. We also had the opportunity to meet leading contractors during the Meet the Buyer sessions, and to network with other businesses in the industry.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the South East Construction Gala Dinner where we were thrilled to receive the Best Construction Supplier Award. We were in great company at the awards dinner, sharing a table with WW Martin, who picked up two awards, and Graham Kinnear of Graham Kinnear Property Consultant Ltd, who was nominated for the Best Construction Project. Our table was definitely the winners' table!
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to the judges for recognising our work, and to all our colleagues and clients who have supported us on this journey. We are proud of our achievements, and we will continue to strive for excellence in everything we do.
